Hello, my name is john. Years ago i was known as Lcpl. Mitchell. i am urging veterans of oif and oef to come forth with mysterious or paranormal encounters in iraq, afghanistan and anywhere else the war on terrorism may have taken them.
i will share my accounts and accounts of my brothers. lets start with,
THUNDERBIRDS in Afghanistan.
that is correct, i said that there are giant, presumably predatory avians living in the helmand province in afghanistan. i witnessed flocks of 3-5 on several occasions at distances of 100- about 1200 meters resting on the ground. compared to the goats that they appeared to be wrangling for lunch on one occasion, they seem to stand about 4-5 feet tall when standing erect. i wish i could accurately predict their wing span but i had no way to guage thier size against a solid blue sky sporting the occasional cloud. i never discussed these birds with any marines outside of my vehicle as it seems irrelivant when facing ones own morality in a war zone. i can sat for certain that my vehicle commander and gunner both witnessed and were impressed by these thunderbirds. my gunner reports that one even followed our truck one night while leaving nowzad and heading for camp bastion.
next, lets talk little people, fairies, sprites or whatever 5 friend reported seeing in an abandoned estonian building
you see, while on a particular fob in the helmand we actually lived in an abandoned estonian building. one morning my corpsman reported seeing something strange late at night. when word got out it tuned out that 4 others witnessed the same thing on the same night.the night took place soon after mylaria pill day and 2 marines associated it with the side effects during the time of the sighting. however, when they compaired stories common sense dictates that could not be the cause. mass halutionations typically are not the same for everybody unless something is suggested to them before or during the hallucination, much like hypnosis. without further suspense i will tell thier story. 1 corpsman and 4 marines all witnessed, while lying silently in thier beds and not communicating with one another, small shadow people walking on the walls and ceiling. the petite, very dark figures stood 6- 12 inches tall and moved nimbly about as if to defy gravity itself. some contributed to ghosts. some said they were some sort of little folk. the truth is that nobody knows. sadly, i did not witness this phenominon or perhaps i would have more insight as to what they were. i would appreciate your thoughts and opinions on this matter.
lastly, lets breifly talk ghosts.
from eyewitness accounts and my own experiences i will say that ghosts do not only exist, but florish in afghanistan. thats it, they are most definately there.
regretably, mainstream biologists, monsterquest or destination truth will not be visiting war torn afghanistan any time in the forseeable future. the mysteries there will remain so for a while, if not forever.
